Mangaluru: 36-year-old fisherman falls into river, loses life

Mangaluru, Dec 1: A worker, who had been the member of a fishing boat that had left for fishing, accidentally fell into the river and passed away. This incident happened at the Bunder dock of the city on the evening of Tuesday November 30.

The worker who was killed in this unfortunate incident was Mallapalli Appaiah (36) of Andhra Pradesh origin. When he was out for fishing in a boat on Tuesday evening, he accidentally slipped and fell into the river. A search launched by the other fishermen failed to locate him.

On the morning of Wednesday December 1, the deceased worker's body was found at the Bunder dock here. The locals provided this information to the police.
