315 new coronavirus cases in Karnataka, two deaths in state

Bengaluru, Nov 28: Karnataka on Sunday November 28 registered 315 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 6,831. Among the districts, Bengaluru Urban registered the highest number of single-day cases with 152 new infections, while Dharwad reported 49 and Mysuru 26.

Only two deaths due to coronavirus was reported in the state on Sunday, both from Bengaluru Urban. With this, the toll so far stands at 38,198.

The state recorded 236 discharges from hospitals, taking the total discharges so far to 29,50,542.

So far, Karnataka has seen 29,95,600 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 0.40%, while the case fatality rate for the day is 0.63%.

As many as 7,32,32,242 vaccination doses have been administered so far.
