September 29 will be the day of operation against the helmets. September 30 will be focusing on vehicle insurance. On October 1 checking of old cases and October 2 will be focusing on emission.”

Whatever happened to checking on Horns of Busses??? No horn day etc. the way the city busses blow their horns is mind blowing. We have more of NOISE pollution than Air pollution in the city. Everybody wants to reach their destination on time. By Honking (Weird honk sounds) & disrupting peace & quiet. Seriously. & all u can think about is Check on 2 wheelers. Collect fines. Make some money. Check on the Busses First. Fine them or the Owners first. Huh.

I am disturbed and sure so do many men out here. The last statement says, “ the drive is to protect women, students and senior citizens” .. then what about we men ?? It’s not their responsibility to protect men ? Why is our society can’t treat equally and more over the ones sitting on top including politicians and bureaucrats are the one creating this difference and divide. Make one and same law for all citizens regardless the gender. Respect and treat equally.

i just got my PUC checked ,because of this notification ..I call this proactive and positive approach .. They will make surprise checks .. no doubt ..but atleast they are giving time to people who might have genuinely forgotten to get these mandatory documents and certificates.I call this a more humane approach

one chaddi cheater caught straightaway..ha ha ha...i have all my records up to date...i put reminders and do it on time... this announcement is done for the chaddi cheaters to set things right...but in any case they wont find much offenders as word will spread and most offenders will avoid going on road or in areas where police are bound to check..as simple as that.. really ridiculous that people like you just support for the sake of supporting the dumb act of the police dept police will never tell a thief that he is coming..in fact these checks should be done at regular intervals without informing public.
