Daijiworld Media Network - Kadaba (SP)

Kadaba, Sep 27: It is said that a woman was raped by police personnel of Kadaba station. After she became pregnant, it is said, he managed to get the pregnancy aborted. After his illicit sex life became common knowledge, thanks to social websites, Puttur assistant superintendent of police visited Kadaba police station and put together information about the now infamous story of the policeman.

The information about the policeman's misadventure are being actively circulated with the question from whom can the people in distress and facing injustice approach if the police personnel indulge in such acts instead of helping the people. It also says that because of a handful of such crooks, the entire police department is forced to hang its head in shame and therefore those involved should be punished so that it becomes a warning for those who think of committing such crimes.

The websites claim that the policeman had raped a lady living nearby. Once he came to know that she had conceived, he made all out efforts to cover up his involvement and took her to hospital and saw to it that she underwent abortion, it is said. Reportedly, those coming to the police station seeking help are targetted by the said policemen. He tries to trap ladies visiting the police station seeking justice because of problems like family feud, husband's misbehaviour etc.

The person concerned, it is said, continued with his vice, even after the station house officer of Kadaba, who came to know of the man's story, called the man to his chamber and advised him to mend his ways. A viral video of the policeman urging a media person not to publish any report about him after he came to know that his story was about to become public, has also been uploaded in the social website.

Puttur assistant commissioner of police, Gana P Kumar, reacting to the incident when speaking to media persons, said that he is aware of the incident. He said that steps will be taken if the aggrieved lady or the members of the public file a complaint duly mentioning the names of the concerned.

It's a shame. Police have forgotten that they are public servants and they are paid salaries from the taxpayer's money to serve the public. Instead, they demand favours such as money, drinks, sex, etc. if we go to them for help with a complaint. They are the assumption that they are doing a favour. I am currently facing a similar situation at Barke police station. I have been running around to get a report which I had applied at the DC office. Station police inspector should be held responsible. If the station inspection is strict then no one in that station will have the courage to harass the public.

Let the Asst Superintendent answer the Public, why a Criminal rapist should be paid from the Tax players' money? At the most, this criminal mind will be suspended for a few days or transferred to another place where he will continue doing his criminal activities! Just kick him out of the Department!

Simply dismiss the fellow otherwise he will become a great nuisance. All future government recruitments should be on contract basis including all the civil services. This will stop all corruption and other harassment by government staff.

95% of the Mangalore police are of Chaddi Background. The Manuvadis know only one thing is to bully the weak. Ask these cowards to go to border to face Pakistan or China and they will wet their parents.

And I guess, hidden CCTVs might be required in the latter's chambers, monitored by the police. Once all this has been arranged, people will have a steady stream of reality TV 24x7.
