Kundapur: Body of one among two fishermen who went missing found

Kundapur, Sep 18: The mortal remains of Charan Kharvi (25), son of Vasu Kharvi from Kachakana Mane, Alvekody, was found on the seashore at Ammanavara Toppalu area at around 10 am on Saturday September 18.

He happens to be one among the two fishermen conducting traditional fishing who went missing after their boat overturned on Friday September 17 when returning to Alvekody after the fishing trip. The incident had happened at Paduvari village in Byndoor taluk. They were working in the'Jai Guruji' boat when tragedy struck.

The other fishermen who were facing a gloomy fate were rescued by the fishermen of another boat.
