Kundapur: Two fishermen go missing after boat capsizes due to rough tidal waves

Kundapur, Sep 17: Two fishermen went missing after a traditional fishing boat capsized while returning from fishing to Alvekodi. The incident was reported at Tarapathi in Paduvari village of Byndoor taluk on Friday September 17.

The missing fishermen belong to boat 'Jai Guruji' owned by Charana Karvi. The mishap took place due to rough tidal waves in the sea.

The other fishermen in the boat reached the shore with the help of another boat.

Byndoor police visited the spot.

It is gathered, fishermen and swimming experts were looking for the missing fishermen till late night.
