Customs officials seize gold worth Rs 41.33 lac from passenger at Mangaluru airport

Mangaluru, Sep 16: The Customs officers at Mangaluru International Airport on Thursday September 16, detected an attempt to smuggle gold by a passenger from Dubai.

The accused passenger, Jafar Kallingal (29) arrived by Air India Express Flight IX384. He was arrested by the Customs officials.

The officers seized gold totally weighing 854 grams in net valued at Rs 41.33 lac from the passenger.

The gold was being smuggled by way of concealment in the rectum of the passenger.

    They have been many such instances in Mangalore where Gold is smuggled thru the rectum. Many more to come as well. And all this has one common factor . But we fail to acknowledge it due to the hatred towards one person.

    Steve India ,they are putting gold in powder form in condom and conceal it either some plastic ,paint it etc.,These people are experts I feel.later when our customs want to get out of body,simply take to a room where they are given something to drink so thatbowl movements happen and filter it later .only gold contents remain above and rest goes down in drain.First they have to swallow the through mouth.or pushed in like fever tablets to baby.from down.God knows how it remain inside .they dont drink or take food whole time ,so that no bowl movements will pushout.Thatswhat I saw in films when customs control room showed.
