People should clean the skeletons from their own closet before they point fingers at what is going on in Afghanistan. Talk of rape, murder and other hulabulah going on here in India , than what is going on elsewhere. Those NGO's are trying to help people and here you are all complaining and shooting political darts . Instead talk of the great work the NGOs are doing and support them in person or in spirit.

Religious NGO ? Is that country to spread religion where there was hardly any governance. It's like jumping into an active Volcano and begging for help. Taliban are not humans they are brain washed fanatics. their own people killed mercilessly.

Ma'am, I have seen Jesuits working. They do not proclaim Christanity, but are being Christ to others. Christanity isnot converting people, but spreading love, even to the extent of dying for them like Jesus died, Saints died.

Cynthia and Chandu, you are wondering why so many people were at the airport, and all of them desperately trying to get out. Don't forget, even when Ghani and Karzai were the Presidents, thousands upon thousands of Afghans were getting to Turkey or North Africa, and then trying to cross the waters to get to Europe. Migration to Europe is BIG BIG BIG business in Afghanistan! Apart from a very few women and children, almost all were men in their 20s and 30s - using the opportunity (and the excuse of Taliban) to escape Afghanistan as economic migrants to Europe. I am sure at least 10% of those on the airport tarmac were Pakistanis, resident in Kabul.

Sudarshan, your mind is only enjoy with your family and earn money and save for future family generations. That mind set is very common in many of you but reality of life is different. Priests and nuns are serving poor in hospitals, war zones without any political gains or not for publicly but for the sake of christ.

Any assault on diplomats is an insult to the Nation.. Bringing back diplomats safely is highest priority for any nation. In todays politics no one cares for humanity services, and NGO's are on their own when the risk comes to this level. Lets pray and hope our Priest finds a safe host until he finds a way back.

A leopard never changes its spot !! The cold blooded executions, assaults on women, is blatantly seen across Afghanistan.. The world has not forgotten the destruction of Bamiyan temple. Indians are taking a very grave risk to their lives they should pronto leave this country... We should now be more worried of radicalized elements on our soil, who have overtly professed their admiration and support to these bloodthirsty bigots !!!

I understand the apprehension of the Christian priests and their families. But I don't see a problem for the men in Afghanistan. The Taliban leadership has already visited the Sikh and Hindu temples and have assured the two communities not to fear anything, and continue to live in Afghanistan as before. The Christian priests I understand work for an NGO. Same story. The Taliban has assured all NGOs to continue as before.

What now?It is hard now to find him or leave him back.Difficult situation. One has to understand at present soon as possible to leave the country. No handling.Let the situation come under control .Because Taliban have taken over the charge. Now slowly but soon noone can say what next.We only have to see how soon one can get out.Love to fellows or to left ones ,is here on the danger list.Take your feet in hands and flee.President Biden had right.Even in last few years their military had done nothing, let Taliban enter city and ,and they never fought.President of Afghanistan fled with 160millionen dollar (exactly know noone)before Taliban entered.Lets pray for the left and hope to hear about them.During taliban regime no need of asking about other religions.
