This was to be expected as they started the plan to make roads at charmadi Gahats. They should have do ne first the sides fixed well before the road was given free. Now you see they dug the earth and put on roads.super planning.Previously trees were protecting in Ghats that no sliding away mud.Now they dug the mud ,trees /roots have no halt ,and whole mud is sliding .why didnt built a solid wall both sides.?Now when sliding is there, dig one side put on roads.what a plan !Does anyone control during the work there?

You are right. Politicians and Hwy dept. planners and engineers are very good at putting the cart before the horse! It is mind boggling why these guys don’t of soil erosion by senseless cutting trees and widening roads without strengthening sides of the road! Nature is not kind under these conditions.
