Former Daijiworld Abu Dhabi correspondent Oswald M D'Souza no more

Mangaluru, May 29: Long-time supporter of Daijiworld, a veteran actor and Konkani enthusiast, Oswald M D'Souza, passed away on Saturday May 29.

Oswald was Daijiworld’s first correspondent in Abu Dhabi who used to supply news and other content from overseas. He had completed he studies from St Aloysius educational institutions.

Being a long-time supporter of Daijiworld Media, he was also an active member of Konkani Cultural organization (KCO) Abu Dhabi Abu Dhabi. In his home town, he was also a very active member of Catholic Action League of Bendore parish in his youth days.

He was known for lending a helping hand to numerous social causes without any publicity.

Being a versatile personality, he was a very good actor and acted in many Konkani plays.

Oswald is survived by wife Blanche and sons Brian and Colin.

    Sorry to hear about Ozzy's sudden demise. We studied together in Aloysius. Did not meet each other after that although we were in touch until his last days of hospitalization.
