Udupi: Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management holds National Technology Day

Udupi, May 12: IEEE Student Branch of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal, Udupi organized the National Technology Day -2021 on Tuesday May 11. In the virtually held event totally 10 student teams presented the project ideas which were well recognized in national level competitions and by sponsoring agencies.

Some of these projects are being sponsored by Karnataka State Council for Science & Technology (KSCST), VTU-TEQIP. The event was compeered and coordinated by Ashuthosh Kumar, chair, IEEE Student Branch. The principal, deans, HoDs, faculty and staff members and students attended the event.



The following teams presented projects: Deepak Nayak and Team on COVID19 Mobile App; Pranav Nayak and Team on Janapada Vaidya Nidhi Website; Niharika and Team on Implementation of Collision avoidance system at hairpin bends using proximity sensors; Akshatha Renjal and Team on Swasthya; Prathyaksh Kumar and Team on Production and Efficiency Study on Environmentally Sustainable Green Building Material in Construction Practices; Raksha Shetty and team on Chemical Characterization of Seawater Intrusion; Sumanth SS and team on Touchless Smart Detoxifying Unit; Poojashree and Team on COVISCAN; Samreen and team on Image Classification for silkworm using Deep Neural Network; and Chaitra Shetty and team on Maintenance Strategies for Rural roads under PMGSY of Udupi district: Problems and Solutions.
