Bantwal, May 1: MLA Rajesh Naik said that all arrangements are in place to construct an oxygen plant at taluk government hospital with the active participation of Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (MCF) in order to prevent shortage of oxygen in the taluk in the wake of increasing scare of coronavirus second wave.

Naik spoke to the media after inaugurating the blood donation camp organized by Bantwal BJP Yuva Morcha.

MLA Naik further said, "In Bantwal taluk hospital 25 oxygen beds are already made ready. Another 10 additional beds are being made ready. In the Vamadapadavu hospital out of the 30 beds, 12 are reserved for coronavirus patients. This will be increased to 20 and all beds will be supplied with oxygen.

"On Thursday more than 200 people in the taluk have turned positive for Covid. In the taluk hospital 15 Covid patients are being treated. Out of them five are in ICU and nine in general ward.

"All doctors, Asha workers and health personnel of the taluk are working with special concern to control the situation. BJP war room is also continuously working to serve the people.

"Two hostels at Vamadapadavu, one each at Kalladka and Vittal are converted as Covid treatment centers. In total 250 beds will be available in five hostels. Action will be taken to supply oxygen to all the beds.

"All above the age of 45 should take vaccine. Those who have already taken first dose of vaccine should take the second dose on time. All above the age of 18 should register themselves for vaccination. Vaccination will be done on priority basis.

"Public should cooperate with the administration in order to bring the coronavirus pandemic under control. All should wear mask and maintain social distance. During curfew hours no one should come out of the house without genuine reason. In emergencies, call the concerned and get the service,” he said.

Later Naik visited the Bantwal taluk hospital and inspected the land that is required to build the oxygen plant. Deepa Prabhu, DMO of the taluk, Devadas Shetty, BUDA president and Devappa Poojary, BJP president were present.

BJP IS THE ROOT CAUSE of spreading coronavirus in India by poor management and not following scientific advice and instead holding cows urine drinking parties and advising to apply cowdung on the body and lately I have received a video of some Vedic chants to play twice a day in the house kill coronavirus. Now they are opening oxygen plant to help Bantwal people. It is time they wake up and do things scientifically to control the virus. Election rallies were more important to Modi when people were dying in thousands.

O God what's going on in your world? You gave water and air free But we started to buy drinking water. Now air also we have to buy. Now the people understand while every breath we are taking we must thank and praise you. For your constant love. Isaiah prophet clearly mentioned Oxe or buffello knows it's master Donkey listens to the songs of its master But my people don't recognize me. They don't know me God is worried!
