Kasargod: Speeding car rams into auto - 40-year-old rickshaw driver loses life

Kasargod, Apr 20: A 40-year-old auto driver was killed in a road accident after speeding Innova car rammed into his autorickshaw on Kallangai National Highway of Mogral Puthur here on Tuesday, April 20.  

The victim is identified as Janardhana Gatti, a resident of Hosmane. The incident reported in front of Mogral Puthur gram panchayat. While the autorickshaw driver was heading towards Kumble, the Innova car which came from behind, rammed the auto. As a result, the autorickshaw toppled and the driver got trapped under the auto. Gatti sustained severe injuries in the accident and was rushed to a hospital in Kasargod by locals who gathered at the spot.

As he was seriously injured in the accident, he died on the way to the hospital. Janardhan was an auto driver in Chowki auto stand.
 
Traffic police have registered a case in this regard.

    RIP, Janardhan. Condolences to the bereaved family and loved ones. The police should make a thorough investigation as to why the driver of the speeding car rammed into the auto. He should be punished and give full monetary compensation to the deceased family.

    This man made mistake to be punished severely without mercy ! let him give compensation to the bereaved family otherwise you should be banned for life including 10 years in JAIL. But the same old age BRITISH law will entertain these kind of ROAD CRIMINALS
