Apr 19: Dakshina Kannada reports 218 fresh corona cases, Udupi records 163

Mangaluru/Udupi, Apr 19: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 218 fresh coronavirus cases on Monday raising the tally to 38,361. Out of these, 1,881 cases are currently active.

A total of 689,794 samples have been tested. Out of which 651,433 are negative.

As many as 101 people were discharged on Monday, taking the total number of recoveries to 35,736.

A total of 744 deaths have occurred so far.

Around Rs 48,06,830 in fines have collected for 46,318 mask violations in the district.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 26,903, including 163 fresh cases on Monday. Out of these, 746 cases are currently active.

Over 468,767 samples have been tested so far.

As many as 77 patients were discharged on Monday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 25,964.

A total of 193 deaths have occurred so far.

    Sameer, Mumbai, How are you doing there CAA, NRC expert?? CAA or NRC might not have did any harm to you as well but it did for crores of people. You talk as if you know every word from the law and others do not know abc, typical cheddi mentality. Have you visited any detention camps in Assam?? How come a decorated Kargil war hero is treated as non India, how come only few members of the family is detained as non Indians when their children or parents are Indians? Those 2% people who migrated to India trying to rule India and they should be sent back from India, not the adivasis who are the native Indians. What a great knowledge you have!! Holder of MA in political Science from Nagpur University??
