Mangaluru: Workshop on drug awareness held at St Sebastian Church Permannur

Mangaluru, Apr 12: A workshop on the ill-effects of narcotic drugs was held at the auditorium of St Sebastian English Medium School on Sunday April 11 as part of the silver jubilee celebration of Catholic Sabha of the church.

The programme started with a prayer song sung by Shirline and team. President of Catholic Sabha Dolphy D'Souza welcomed the gathering. The stage programme was presided over by Fr Cyprian Pinto, parish priest of St Sebastian church. Fr Santhosh D'Souza, assistant parish priest of the church was the chief guest.

Ganesh Nayak Mulki, Alwyn J D'Souza, president of Mangaluru south zone and Sr Jacintha Crasta, head teacher of St Sebastian English Medium School were the resource persons.

Icintha D'Souza introduced the resource persons to the gathering. Secretary Arun D'Souza rendered the vote of thanks. The programme was compered by Jyothi D'Souza. Around 175 people got the benefit of this workshop.
