Mangaluru/Udupi, Apr 9: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 115 fresh coronavirus cases on Friday raising the tally to 36,515. Out of these, 869 cases are currently active.
A total of 6,55,972 samples have been tested. Out of which 6,19,457 are negative.
As many as 54 people were discharged on Friday, A total of 743 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 44,170 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 45,91,830 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 25,829, including 46 fresh cases on Friday. Out of these, 390 cases are currently active.
Over 4,39,708 samples have been tested so far.
As many as 57 patients were discharged on Friday. A total of 192 deaths have occurred so far.
