Mangaluru: St Agnes PU College felicitates achievers, conducts career guidance programme

Mangaluru, Apr 6: The II PU felicitation to the achievers of 2020 and career guidance programme of St Agnes PU College was held on Tuesday April 6 at the college auditorium.

Dr Ananth Prabhu G, professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering and master in Business Administration at Sahyadri group of Educational Institutions graced the occasion as chief guest.

The toppers, centum scorers with distinctions of II PU Board examination held in March 2020 were felicitated by the chief guest.

Dr Ananth Prabhu congratulated the top scorers for their achievement and complimented the teachers for their dedicated efforts.

Sr Dr Lydia Fernandes, joint secretary of St Agnes Institutions, Sr Norine DSouza, the principal, Sr Janet Sequiera, the vice-principal, Ronald D'souza the PTA vice-president, Chaithanya, the programme convener were also present on the dais.

The resource person along with his team addressed the students. He spoke on how to face exam fear and score more marks, he guided the students to avoid common mistakes while answering exams. He briefed them about new career opportunities and guided the students to attempt scholarship exams. He also motivated the students to be different and to love what they do.

The gathering was welcomed by Venitia from the department of Chemistry while Shailaja from the department of Kannada proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was compered by Shubhavani from the department of Computer Science.

The students participated in the programme with great enthusiasm and widened their understanding of the prospects of their career.
