Mangaluru: Srinivas Institute of Technology students bag seven ranks, four gold medals in final exam

Mangaluru, Mar 31: Seven students of Srinivas Institute of Technology bagged seven ranks and four gold medals in the final year examination held by Vishweshwaraya Technological University for the year 2019-2020.

Nono technology department student Junaid Khan secured first rank and four gold medals. Sanjay G secured the second rank. Marine Engineering division’s Chandan A, second rank; Chetan A, third rank; Ponnamma K S, fourth rank; Architecture department’s K Amratha Adiga, fourth rank; Automobile division’s Mohammed Farhan secured the sixth rank.

Srinivas Institute chancellor and A Shamrao Foundation president A Raghavendra Rao, vice-chancellor and vice-president Dr A Srinivas Rao, college principal Dr Srinivas Mayya D, head of the departments and the teaching staff commended the achievements of the students.

The institute has an environment that is conducive to the achievements of the students and the organization always provides training for employment and profession. It works hard to provide excellent engineers to society, said college principal Dr Srinivas Mayya D in a press release.
