Mangaluru/Udupi, Mar 30: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 47 fresh coronavirus cases on Tuesday raising the tally to 35,654. Out of these, 582 cases are currently active.

A total of 6,29,287 samples have been tested. Out of which 5,93,633 are negative.

As many as 44 people were discharged on Tuesday, A total of 742 deaths have occurred so far.

Over 39,995 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 41,14,230 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 25,185 including 53 fresh cases on Tuesday. Out of these, 753 cases are currently active.

Over 418,510 samples have been tested so far.

As many as 79 patients were discharged on Tuesday. A total of 191 deaths have occurred so far.

    What about students congregating in schools everyday no masks no sanitisation right from students to teachers. This itself is a superspreader. DC and CM wake up dont bow down to the education business lobby.
