Moodbidri: Alva's College bags highest number of ranks in Mangalore University exams

Moodbidri, Mar 29: The results of Mangalore University final examinations for the undergraduate, postgraduate, BEd and BPEd for the year 2019-20 has been announced and Alva's College, Moodbidri bagged 32 ranks, becoming the College with the highest number of ranks.

Among the 32 ranks, 14 are first, five are second, six are third, one is fifth, two are seventh, two are eighth and two are tenth.

The first rank was secured by, BSc (FND) Namitha V (86%), BSW Sanika S Kumar (87%), BVA Sakshi C A (83.21%), BP Ed Shreya K H (81.75%), MCom IBM’s Banavi H V (CGPA 7.76), MSc analytical chemistry Atiya R Varnekar (CGPA 7.72), MA Economics Ton Ton (CGCA 7.64), MSW’s Sharanya Rao H (CGCA 8.70), MSc FSN Jesna Vijayan (CGPA 8.92), MSc Zoology Adina (CGPA 8.26), MSc Psychology Kavyashree (CGPA 8.30), MSc Biotech Amratha Arvind (CGPA 8.23), PGDBM Jayalaxmi G (74.20%), MVA Manasa C (60.33%).

The second rank was B Sc (FND) Shimrag Zubeda Faizal (88.18%), B A Pranav (87.42%), BVA Manjunath P A (83.15%), MSW Shruthi John (CGPA 8.48), PGDM Surya Narayana Bhatta (73.20%).

BCA Lavanya (96.3%), BA HRD Sarvamangala S Banagar (81.78%), BSc V Anusha Kamath (96.5%), BVA Vishnuprasanth BM (83.59%), BEd Sanjana Padival (87.75%), and PGDBM Ullas N V (73%) bagged the third rank.

BBA Shreya K Shetty (90.06%) secured the fifth rank.

The seventh rank was secured by, BBA’s Srilakshmi (89.38%) and BCom’s Kusuma D R (93.36%). While BBA’s Keerthi S (89.32%) and BA’s Pavitra Thej (85.26%) secured the eighth rank.

BBA’s Omkar Hegde (88.56%) and BCom’s Justin S (93.18%) secured the tenth rank.

Alva's education foundation’s president, Dr M Mohan Alva and principal Dr Kurien were present at the news conference.
