Mar 26: Dakshina Kannada reports 72 fresh corona cases, Udupi records 210

Mangaluru/Udupi, Mar 26: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 72 fresh coronavirus cases on Friday raising the tally to 35,455. Out of these, 596 cases are currently active.

A total of 6,20,889 samples have been tested. Out of which 5,85,435 are negative.

As many as 49 people were discharged on Friday, A total of 742 deaths have occurred so far.

Over 37,532 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 38,63,210 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

As per the Udupi health bulletin the district reported 210 fresh cases on Friday. Out of these, 752 cases are currently active.

Over 4,09,042 samples have been tested so far.

As many as 63 patients were discharged on Friday. A total of 190 deaths have occurred so far.
