Mangaluru/Udupi, Mar 25: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 72 fresh coronavirus cases on Thursday raising the tally to 35,383. Out of these, 573 cases are currently active.
A total of 6,185,155 samples have been tested. Out of which 5,82,772 are negative. As many as 61 people were discharged on Thursday, A total of 742 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 37,840 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 38,97,030 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
As per the Udupi health bulletin, the district reported 149 fresh cases on Thursday. Out of these, 605 cases are currently active.
Over 4,04,913 samples have been tested so far, As many as 18 patients were discharged on Thursday. A total of 190 deaths have occurred so far.
