Mar 20: Dakshina Kannada reports 52 fresh corona cases, Udupi records 66

Mangaluru/Udupi, Mar 20: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 52 fresh coronavirus cases on Saturday raising the tally to 35,098. Out of these, 492 cases are currently active.

A total of 6,06,786 samples have been tested. Out of which 5,71,688 are negative.

As many as 24 people were discharged on Saturday, A total of 741 deaths have occurred so far.

Over 36,835 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 37,91,410 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

As per the Udupi health bulletin the district reported 66 fresh cases on Saturday. Out of these, 193 cases are currently active.

Over 3,93,069 samples have been tested so far.

As many as 12 patients were discharged on Saturday. A total of 190 deaths have occurred so far.
