Puttur: Retreat mass held at St Philomena PU College

Puttur, Mar 15: Divya Chethana Association of St Philomena PU College on March 11 organized a retreat mass for Christian students at Divya Chethana Chapel.

The mass was inaugurated by lighting the lamp.

Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, correspondent of Mai De Deus Institutions said that spirituality strengthens your life from inside and that without spirituality our life will be equal to a shallow tree that falls within no time.

Fr Prashanth Fernandes of St Antony Church, Bannur said that God is present everywhere and so we should have faith in God and see things in a positive way.

Fr Vijay Lobo, principal of St Philomena PU College said that everyone should know the importance of spiritual life.

Fr Dr Antony Prakash Montherio, the campus director and chairperson of PG Studies of St Philomena PU College, Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta, men's hostel warden and Philomena Montheiro from the department of Commerce were present on the occasion.

Santhosh Clarence D'Souza from the department of Commerce compered the retreat mass.
