Mangaluru, Mar 10: The recipient of Dakshina Kannnada District Rajostava Award, Mohammed Shamil Arshad of Grade 8A, participated in the 36th State Level Skating Championship at Mysuru, organized by the Karnataka Roller Skating Association.
In the category 11 to 14 years, Mohammad Shamil Arshad bagged gold medals and won the individual championship in 500 meter Rink Race, 1 Clap Road Race and 3000 meter Road Race.
He has been selected for the National Level Skating Competition which will be held at Mohali in Punjab from March 31 to April 11.
The Yenepoya School congratulates Shamil and his coaches Mohan Das K, Hi-Flyers Skating Club and Jayaraj from Francis Doris Skate City, Mangaluru for their tremendous efforts.
