Bantwal: Lorry rams into bike - 22-year-old rider killed, pillion passenger critically injured

Bantwal, Feb 25: In a fatal accident involving a bike and a lorry at Kambalabettu Badanaje on Vittal-Puttur road, the rider of the bike was killed while the pillion rider was critically injured. The incident took place on Thursday, February 25.

The deceased has been identified as Beltangady-Alake resident Ismail (22). Meanwhile, the pillion rider is Alake resident Abbas (22) who has been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru.

The mishap struck when a lorry moving from Puttur to Vittal hit the bike and Ismail and Abbas were thrown on the road due to the impact.
