Mangaluru: Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences Mukka welcomes ninth batch of BDS students

Mangaluru, Feb 24: Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences, Mukka, here, on February 24 hosted the inauguration ceremony of its ninth batch of BDS 'Aarambh'.

The function was inaugurated and presided over by the dean, Professor (Dr) Manoj Varma and associate dean, Professor (Dr) Lavanya Varma.

Professor (Dr) Hemanth, department of Oral Pathology welcomed the guests. Professor (Dr) Lavanya Varma addressed the gathering and motivated the students with her inspiring speech. Professor (Dr) Manoj Varma addressed the gathering and was proud to speak about the ranks obtained in the RGUHS examination and welcomed the 2021 batch of students.

Dr Pavithra Sampath, reader of the department of Conservative Dentistry provided a brief introduction to the 1st BDS curriculum. Students and parents shared their experiences about the campus. Professor (Dr) Nitesh Shetty from the department of Prosthodontics distributed PG log books and Professor (Dr) Shailesh Kudvafrom the department of Oral Pathology distributed Ethical Clearance Certificate on behalf of the Ethical committee to the postgraduates. Dr Deepa, Reader from the department of Periodontics proposed the vote of thanks.
