Bagalkot: Inspired by PM Modi, PhD couple runs tea stall for living

Daijiworld Media Network - Bagalkot (MS)

Bagalkot, Feb 23: Narendra Modi, Prime Minister (PM) of India, who is said to be selling tea for a living earlier, has inspired a couple, who have done their PhD to earn their livelihood by selling tea.

This is the story of couple Amingada Prashanth Nayak and Kavya. Both have secured PhD through distance education. In addition, they also passed NET and SET exams to get into government service. Butthey did not get one.

Together with trying to get a government job, the couple used to work in colleges for a living. However, as their financial condition was not good, they opened a tea stall and named it 'Aam Aadmi Tea Time'. This shop has changed their life completely. The couple is earning around Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 per month. They have opened their own education institute named Shantha Devi educational institute, in the name of Prashanth's mother, from the income they have earned through this tea shop.

The couple say, "We did not feel dejected as we did not get a government job. We took inspiration from PM Modi and started a tea business. As we sold tea day and night, our dreams have realized. Our family is leading a happy life. Earlier, our financial condition was not good. Morning we used to be in college and evening work in the tea shop.”

The couple has opened three schools now, along with managing a tea shop. They also plan to open a women's college in Aminagad. On the whole, the couple have become models to all those who lament for not getting a government job.

“On the whole, the couple have become models to all those who lament for not getting a government job“ can anyone please elaborate the meaning of this statement? Is it like the students should study and study and study until they get a Phd and search for government job and if they fail to get one the last thing is you have to open a tea stall? Like seriously??? Why do we need an inspiration to open a tea stall? What is the use of the so called “Phd” ?? Enchina kaande kaande namane thikkina?

Now with PSU privatization and merger of banks many more jobs will be lost and there will be no security for jobs making the overall economy on the backfoot! When people have no option, they have to look to all sorts of means to sustain their lives! The situation is going to be more critical as more and more businesses fail which will have a snowballing effect on all professions!

Phd secured through distant education? Never heard of this. In which subject did they get such degree and is it a recognized institution? I am not surprised they could not get into a job. Who will recognize their Phd? Looks like their education is just like our PM's Bachelor and Master's degree! Surprisingly the certificates were printed using font not existed in those years! ALL FEKU. Because of this Fekugiri our India's situation has been reduced to current state. Also, this Phd couple should have been a little more careful and should not have published the lucrative returns. Our PM and Sitaraman will inforom AA to acquire this business for pittance and make them Nanga!

it is not the couple or Modi. It is the PHD. the PhD's in India has no standing as opposed to the leading universities of the world where the thesis has to be original and has to be defended against leading academicians. Here it is copy and paste with equally bad mentors.

YOU TOOK wrong INSPIRATION FROM PM, then tea vendor !!!!!!!!! PM had no decent education like you both. Therefore, he settled for selling tea without any other choice. We have to pity on NAMO but do not take him wrongly you both Ph.D holders and set a wrong example for India.... We, Indians can not take any inspiration from you both, if so, within no time Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal, Butan's economy will surpass our great India's economy. Is it not a shame ???? Therefore, you educated once (PM was not a Ph.D holder, if so he could have been a great person without entering into politics. You educated people please do not quote PM wrongly for wrong purpose) , instead of settling for tea or getting wrong inspiration, meet the PM advise or inspire him to create some valuable jobs for the Love of India, for the Love of Indians and for the Love of Indian Economy......

They follow Modi and they sell tea not because they inspired by modi but the fact that even if they got PHD & other degree under the rule of modi they cant find any suitable job. Rate of unemployment in india is increasing day by day. For sure if they inspired by modi then one day they will sell their shop as we see BJP is selling everything.
