No information on India-Pakistan cricket ties: Chidambaram

New Delhi, Jul 1 (IANS) Home Minister P. Chidambaram Wednesday said he had no information about the possible resumption of India-Pakistan cricketing ties.

"I have no information on this," he replied when asked if the two countries had agreed to resume their cricketing ties stalled in the wake of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.

According to media reports in Pakistan, the revival of the Test series was very much on the cards as the matter was discussed on the sidelines of the foreign secretaries' meeting in Islamabad last week.

The issue is expected to be the focus of discussion between officials from both countries when they meet after the International Cricket Council (ICC) annual meeting in Singapore, which ends Thursday.
