Mangaluru: Lecture on 'Quantum Mechanics, A Strange World of Particles' held at St Agnes College

Mangaluru, Feb 15: The department of PG Chemistry of St Agnes College on February 2 organised a guest lecture on 'Quantum Mechanics, A Strange World of Particles'.

The main purpose of this session is to introduce the topic Quantum Mechanics for the first-year students. Dr Purandara H, assistant professor of the PG department of Chemistry of SDM College Ujire was present as the chief guest and speaker for the day. Dr Geetha M Pinto, HOD of the PG department of chemistry, Dr Sapna, Hezil and Pratheeksha, faculty of the PG department of Chemistry also attended the session along with the first-year PG chemistry students.



The programme emceed by Sharon Bindu started by seeking the blessings of God. Vidya heartily welcomed the chief guest. The guest introduction was given by Lavina. lt was followed by a guest lecture session from Dr Prandara H.

The programme ended with a vote of thanks by Sister Rosmi. As per the feedback received by the participants, the session was very knowledgeable, the lecture helped them in understanding the concepts of 'Quantum Mechanics'.
