Udupi, Feb 11: St Mary's College, Shirva, here, on February 11, conducted a direct recruiting campus interview by the prestigious Diya System Technologies (Glow Touch Technologies), Mangaluru by the college's department of Computer Science, Career Counseling and Placement cell.

BCA, Diploma (CS), BSc (CS), BSc (IT) BE, MSc, MCA candidates who completed their Master's Degree were invited to the college. The campus interview was conducted by Diya System of Mangaluru at Henry Castelino auditorium.

Diya Systems senior manager, Srinivasa Bhatt after inaugurating the programme said, "It is natural for us to find flaws in spite of modern technology ahead of us. When a youth learns the technical skills of the company, it will benefit the candidate and the company as they discover the flaws."

President of the event, Dr Herald Ivan Monis is grateful to Diya Systems, which hosted a campus straightforward programme at their college to make such campus programmes more beneficial for future employment.

The campus interview for the candidates was attended by about 190 students online and students from various districts of the state, including Huballi, Gadag, Bengaluru, Hassan, Bellary, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi.

The event was attended by the team of Diya System, Laxmish B N, Samrudhi, Raghavendra, Lieutenant K Praveen Kumar, Head of Computer Science department and director of Information Technology, students, faculty and non-faculty relatives were also present. Prayer and chanting were by Chandana and the group of IBCA, Career Counseling and Placement cell coordinator Tanuja N Suvarna greeted everyone while lecturer Sushma welcomed the gathering. Lecturer Divyashree B compered the event.
