Mangaluru: MSNIM holds International Webinar Series

Mangaluru, Feb 4: Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM) organised a special guest lecture on “The Future of Businesses - Post-Covid Era” as a part of its MSNIM International Webinar Series.

Dr Sudhir Ranjan Sen Gupta, Justice of Peace, Malaysia were the international guest speaker for the webinar. He is also Director of Groundswell Malaysia, Sd.Bhd and Advisor to SSS Management & Consultancy Services Sdn.Bhd.

The webinar was held on January 30 at MSNIM campus at Bondel. After delivering the lecture, Dr Gupta engaged with the MBA students in question and answer session.

Addressing the students, Dr Sudhir Ranjan Sen Gupta spoke on the effect of economic depression and e-commerce on the world economy and elaborated on the future competitions such as 4G, cloud migration, digitalization, cashless transaction. “Post-Covid scenario is an opportunity for globalization as about 55% of the business is going to be digitalized by the year 2022,” he said. “In the post-covid digitalization period, young minds have a great role.”

Dr Sen Gupta warmly congratulated India on the efficient manufacture and distribution of Covaxin in the European and neighbouring countries and urged management students to engage in such developments. He advised the management students to take the internship very seriously and brace themselves for any potential challenges. He assured the students of his support for internships, placements and higher education.

Avishma Alva introduced the speaker. Institute director Dr Molly S Chaudhuri presided. Dr Sharan Kumar Shetty was the coordinator of the Workshop. Pooja B gave the vote of thanks. Sonia D’souza compered the programme.
