Mangaluru: St Agnes College Army, Air wing organise Tree Plantation Pakhwada

Mangaluru, Jul 20: The cadets of Army Wing (18 Kar Bn) and Air Wing (Flight C, 6 Kar Air Sqn) NCC of St Agnes College, organised a remarkable Tree Plantation Pakhwada in their home area for World Environment Day on July 18. The cadets selected an empty area and planted the saplings.

To maintain the ecological balance this programme was organised with a lot of sincerity and seriousness. All cadets participated enthusiastically.

This programme created a lot of awareness among all the cadets. Lt Gayathri B K, ANO of Army Wing and Dr Hithakshi Anand, ANO of Airwing were also the part of this programme. They also planted the saplings. Cadets also took an oath to take care of the growth of saplings and decided to see that the trees are saved from being cut down.
