Mangalore, Jan 13: The mega exhibition, Karavali- Pilikula Exhibition was inaugurated at Karavali Utsav ground in Mangala Stadium here by district in-charge minister Krishna J Palemar on Tuesday January 12. 


Speaking on the occasion, Palemar said that the exhibition that focuses mainly on welfare of traders and businessmen also helps people have relatively a easier shopping experience as the different kinds of goods are available under one single roof. He added that such exhibition creates a festival mood in the city.    


MLA N Yogish Bhat, mayor Shankar Bhat and J R Lobo, executive director of Pilikula Nisargadhama society among others were present on the occasion of the inauguration. Minister also inaugurated a stall of plants set up by horticulture department at the exhibition. 


















The exhibition is organized by Pilikula biological society for the development of Samskruthi Grama at Pilikula. The exhibition will also like every year exhibit and sell consumer goods. Entertainment programmes including plays too are lined up at the exhibition venue. The exhibition will be on up to February 28.
