It is always advisable to keep one's highly valued gold coins and gold ornaments in the bank locker. One should not carelessly display their gold jewelleries during marriage functions because there are few ‘Third Eyes’ watching your jewelleries & your movements. It is not safer for school going children or office going women to wear heavy & loose ornaments.

Firstly gold in large quantities should not be kept in the house. If necessary then should be kept in the safe. Most importantly one must take out appropriate insurance, it's very easy to insure when kept in a safe and premium is pittance.
