Kuwait: Annual Summer Fete at Holy Family Cathedral

Kuwait, Sep 26: Holy Family Cathedral Kuwait organized its annual Summer Fete 2009 on Friday 25th September in the basement and ground floor halls of Holy Family Cathedral, Kuwait City. This event was organized by the parishioners under the leadership of Parish Priest Fr. Melwyn D`cunha – Parish Priest of Holy Family Cathedral church under the guidance of his Lordship Bishop Camillo Ballin, with the great help of the volunteers. 





























Summer Fete was a family-oriented and fun-filled event.  The proceeds of this event will be used towards the activities of the Church to organize for the children on voluntary basis.  As expected, it attracted huge crowd which enjoyed their weekend with full of fun.
The fun filled event was enfolded with a variety of game stalls, Music to entertain the young and the old, face painting, mehendi, variety of items on sale etc. Songs on request were played by the Kuwait’s leading DJs.

The main attraction of the day was food stalls with traditional food varieties of different state, taste and tradition.  Delicacies from Mangalore, Goa, Thamil Nadu, Kerala, Sri Lanka, Philippines, fast food, variety of ice creams are some to be named.  The live band from Srilanka with dances was another added attraction. 

It was a day filled with fun and variety of food to taste and enjoy.
