St Philomena College Puttur organizes annual NSS special camp valedictory programme

Puttur, Jan 2: The valedictory programme of the annual special camp of National Service Scheme of St Philomena College here, was held on January 1 at DKZP Higher Primary School Kuriya of the taluk.

The HoD of Economics, Vivekananda College Puttur, Dr Arun Prakash delivered the valedictory address. He said, "National Service Scheme is a forum which helps the students to acquire human values."

The campus director and chairman of PG Studies and Research of the college, Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro presided over the programme.



The progressive farmer of Kuriya, Budiyaru Radhakrishna Rai, president of the School Betterment Committee, Abdul Jabbar M S, Jayaprakash Rai Ballamajalu, Aryapu gram panchayat member, Ramesh Rai Dimbri, headmistress, Leelavathi K and honorary advisor of the Annual Day celebrations committee, Venkatramana Nakshatrittaya expressed their compliments.

The volunteers, Lavin J V, Khushi N V, Pramila Pinto, Shravya M, Varshini F G and Prakash A presented the reports.

The camp officer, Shashiprabha B, assistant camp officers, Dhanya P T, Abhishek Suvarna and Harshith R coordinated the programme.

To preserve the memory of the NSS Camp, coconut saplings were planted in the school premises.

The unit leader, Pooja M K welcomed the gathering. The camp officer, Dinakar Anchan proposed the vote of thanks. Dheeraj M, Nishmitha N D, Laveena D’Souza and Krithika D J compered the programme.
