Mangaluru, Dec 15: St Ann’s High School Kuntikan, Derebail conducted the annual sports day on December 12, 2019. The quote 'Healthy mind in a healthy body signifies the importance of sports and how it helps the students in character building and maintain energy and strength. It improves mental sharpness and stamina. Above all, it develops a sense of friendliness and team spirit.
This reflected in the students as they participated in different sports events.
The day also had a display of drills wherein nation's soldiers the real heroes who protected the country by sacrificing their own lives were honoured. It was a joy to watch the students dressed in army, navy and air force attire marching forward showing their respect to our motherland and the little hearts felt the need to show forth their patriotism.
