Mangaluru: St Agnes College (Autonomous) Science forum conducts debate competition

Mangaluru, Dec 14: The Science forum of St Agnes College (Autonomous) on December 13 organized a debate competition for the students of the college.

The competition was organized with a motive of focusing on the current affairs and creating awareness on the present world scenario among the youth. It also provided a platform for the students to express their point of view on various topics like Kashmir issues, death penalty, LGBT community, capitalism, modern-day education, journalism in recent years etc.



There were 11 teams from different streams that participated in the competition. The students participated with enthusiasm and zeal. The audience not just enjoyed the rebuttal but also gained knowledge on various matters.

Dr Saraswathi B S, the staff co-ordinator and Malani Lisha D'Souza, the student coordinator of the Science forum organized the event.
