Mangaluru: Shakthi Residential School observes Constitution Day

Mangaluru, Nov 27: Vidya Kamath G, the principal of Shakthi Residential School addressed the students on the celebration of Constitution Day.

In her address, she said, "India is the only country in the world where different religions, languages, culture climatic conditions prevail. We find unity in diversity in our nation. Dr B R Ambedkar framed the constitution for India to have unity and peace in this country. The constitution framed under his leadership gave importance to economic and social equality. Human values and discipline is very important for a developing country. Therefore we have to inculcate in us all the values upheld in our constitution to strengthen our nation."

The students took an oath in the name of the constitution to uphold justice, equality, brotherhood and liberty.
