Mangaluru: Kannada Rajyotsava celebrated at Expert PU College Kodialbail

Mangaluru, Nov 5: Kannada is our mother tongue” said Expert PU College principal Prof Ramachandra Bhat, during Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations at Expert Pre-university College.

In his address he elucidated that as Kannadigas we must love and uphold our language Kannada and maintain linguistic, communal and cultural harmony. He further stated that, it is the responsibility of this generation to conserve and cultivate the culture of Karnataka which is inherited from the past.



On this occasion Karunakar Balkur, head of the Kannada department recited a poem on the great warriors of Karnataka.

Students presented few programmes depicting the rich cultural heritage of our state Karnataka. Various competitions were conducted on account of Kannada Rajyotsava.

Manoj Shanbhogue K, HOD of Chemistry, Zita D’Souza, HOD of English, Pramod Kini, lecturer in Hindi, Ramya Anil, lecturer in Kannada, Rachana K, lecturer in Biology and Pradyumna Acharya, lecturer in Sanskrit, were present on the occasion.

Unnati compered and rendered the vote of thanks.
