Mangalore: Ek Se Badkar Ek - See the World through Lensmen's Eyes

Mangalore, Jul 1: Press Club Day is being jointly celebrated on July 1 at the Patrika Bhavan here, by Dakshina Kannada District Working Journalists Association and Mangalore Press Club.

On this occasion, an exhibition of photographs by the photo-journalists has been organized. The exhibition was inaugurated at 10.30 am.

Veteran photographer from the city and owner of Balco Studio, Shantaram Rao inaugurated the exhibition. Senior photographer Yajna, who participated as chief guest, delivered a lecture on photography. President of Dakshina Kannada District Working Journalists Association Harsha presided.

Professional photographers have taken part in the photo exhibition. Interested people may visit the exhibition between 10.30 am and 5 pm on July 1 and 2, a release by the DK District Working Journalists Association and Mangalore Press Club said.

    Fantastic photography. Great job well done. My favourite is No 6 ... cows grazing (taken from a hill top) and No. 17 ... into the camels mouth (just look at the reaction on the girls faces. We need to have more of these photos from time to time to reminesense our beautiful land.

    nice photographs..now we understand why crime rates are rising in mangalore - guess - because all loyal law-abiding people are doing their duty one''s at a time....Mr.Hosur should take action immediately..''descipline is not counted everywhere''..what''s these gals looking well into the camel''s mouth?.. best one i think so is of women''s carrying wooden sticks up above their head for their livelihood and of beedi preparing gal in the flame of cooking food.... very natural..congrats all  photographers..
