Wilfy Sentimental Night should be a "Night of Celebration". Fifty years of the past should be recollected with lots of pride and joy and should symbolize our continued support to Wilfy and Meena in all their future trials and challenges in life. It is our sincere desire that the prestigious TMA Pai Hall (which we have not seen as yet) should be filled every seat - corner to corner, and the basketfull of requests for songs should continue to flood the wire lines of Magdalene. We ourselves will have a request for one song that was composed and sung by Wilfy as he travelled from our farm to Mangalore via Shiradi Gadi Ghats decades ago. We have heard this song 50 times before, and hopefully one more request will not bore Wilfy and Meena. This is the time for the community of Mangalore to rise to the occasion and make Wilfy and Meena feel that we shall all stand behind them and pray for their continued good health and happiness.

Millions thanks to all our wellwishers and supporters. A very special thanks to all who have blessed our event with your prayers and good wishes. We remain greatful to all our wellwishers for the support extended to us in the past years. We also want to make a special note in responce to A M Bahrain and Nelson Kuwait,

Infact it was our deepest desire to have all our past singers during this occassion. Unfortunately Babith D''sa will be travelling out of the country for some days to stay with her daughter so she is missing this show and we too are missing her during this golden event. Once again a big thank you To Daiji for all the support and all you our great supporters. We are eagerly waiting to see you on 2nd August.

Wilfy Sentimental Nite to commemorate 50 Golden Years would definitely turn out to be an event to remember (Yaadgaar)for life - both for Wilfy Baab & his family and for all those who would attend it.Wilfy Baab brought a new "avatar" to konkani music and became a household name and an "ashariravani" in almost every catholic home both in and around Mangalore.

A simple man with simple living and humility personfified undoubtedly he is the Kohinoor in the crown of Konkani music. With a fervent prayer to Almighty God to give Wilfy Baab good health,I wish Unitd Youngsters and all those who take part in the Nite as well as Well Wisher''s Committee members the best of luck and success in staging this historic event.Long live Wilfy Baab.

Its a great news and a great milestone in Wilfy''s life and in the history of Konkanni culture. I think this type of show should be hoisted in all the countires as a world tour. I humbly request all the associations to take the initiative to conduct such an event in their respective countries. Hats off to Daijiworld for bringing up this extremely beautiful write-up.
