Mangaluru: NSS unit of Milagres College hold ‘Plastic Free Environment Programme’

Mangaluru, Aug 17: National Service Scheme (NSS) in association with Youth Red Cross organized ‘Plastic Free Environment Program’ on August 15 on the occasion of Independence Day.

The campaign aimed at creating awareness on minimising the usage of plastics.

The faculty members and the NSS volunteers of Milagres College cleared up all the plastic in the college premises and in stretch of about 2 kilometers around the city. The places included were Jyothi, Falnir, Bavutagudda and Hampankatta.



A total of 102 volunteers actively participated in this campaign.
