Mangaluru: ACE Karnataka to host IACDE 2nd south zonal conference on Aug 9, 10

Mangaluru, Aug 5: The Association of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics of Karnataka (ACE Karnataka) through the Indian Association of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics (IACDE) will host the IACDE 2nd south zonal conference 2019 (Zone 4) at TMA Pai International Convention Centre, here from the August 9 to 10.

The 600 registered conference participants are specialty postgraduate students, super specialists, specialists, researchers from the teaching fraternity and clinical practitioners of Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

N Vinaya Hegde, chancellor, Nitte (deemed to be university) will inaugurate the conference on August 9. Rajkiran Rai, managing director and CEO, Union Bank of India will be chief guest.

The conference aims to bridge the yawning gap between the academia, clinical practitioners, industries and financial services and popularize and disseminate research findings. This conference will be rich and varied with thematic lectures by four eminent keynote speakers and six guest speakers.

Case vignette session which will foster discussions and hopes to inspire the students from a wide array of themes will be moderated by ten senior clinicians and
academicians.

To reach out and establish relationships agreeing on a strategy of co-operation and co-ordination with academia, industry and financial services to exercise greater stewardship of resources, sessions titled ‘Industry Technology Platform – Demonstration and hands on’ has been organized for the participants free of registration.

Journal of Aesthetics, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics an official publication of ACE-Karnataka will be released during the inaugural session. ACE-Karnataka Awards 2019 will be given in various categories during the occasion.
