Moodbidri: Holy Rosary High School observes Vanamahotsava

Moodbidri, Aug 3: July is a busy month of planting thousands of saplings, marking the festival of trees. Holy Rosary High school celebrated Vanamahotsava in a meaningful manner.

Dr Mahaveer Jain, president of Rotary Club Of Temple Town, here was chief guest. Addressing the students, he highlighted the need to love nature and the significance of vanamahothsava.

Balika Jain, lecturer in Hindi Of Holy Rosary PU College, spoke on the role of students in conserving the environment.

The headmistress Sr Thelma Dora D'souza presided over the programme.

The Eco Club put up a thought provoking cultural programme. Reshma directed the students.

The essence of the programme was brought out by planting the saplings were planted and fenced.
