Blow to Challengers, Kings XI as Hopes, Bracken out of IPL

TNN

Centurion, May 8: There's some bad news for Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers - Kings XI's James Hopes and Royal Challenger's Nathan Bracken will not be available for the ongoing IPL.

According to a Cricket Australia release, both Hopes and Bracken are unfit and they will return to Australia instead of playing in the IPL.

Australian team doctor Trevor James, who examined the players on Wednesday in Dubai, said the two were still nursing existing knee problems and would be rested before the World T20 in England.
