Karkala: Free books distributed to students of Kedinje school

Karkala, Jun 6: A programme to distribute free textbooks from Karnataka state government, free notebooks worth Rs 15,000 by Dr Kiran Sriharsha America and Chandan Pradeep Shenoy Bengaluru in memory of their grandparents and free stationery by Nitte Kemmannu Padumane Deepak Kumar, Dileep Kumar and retired teacher Laxminarayana Bhat to school children was held at Kedinje Vidya Bodhini Aided Higher Primary School and U Subbanna Kamath Education Trust auditorium on Tuesday.

Retired headmaster N Sudhaker Rao chaired the programme.

Old student’s association secretary Abbanadka Sandeep V Poojary and others were present.

School teacher Prathviraj Ballal welcomed the gathering and compered the programme.

Teacher Rekha Pai rendered the vote of thanks.

School honorary teachers were present.
