Mangaluru, May 29: A three day Orientation programme was conducted for teachers at Milagres CBSE School, here from May 27 to 29 under the guidance of the campus director Fr Michael Santhumayor, principal Elveera Lasrado and academic advisor Prof Lourdsamy.

On the first day a Mind Mapping Programme was conducted by Dr Surfraz J Hashim (psychologist, mind trainer, success coach and alternative healing consultant). Educational Work Ethics was conducted by Fr Robert D’Souza (principal of Lourdes Central School, Bejai here).

On the second day Internal Assessment Structure was handled by Deepa Karkada and Laurel D’Souza (teachers from St Aloysius Gonzaga School).

On the third day Inter Personal Skills by Regina Dinesh (lecturer in English) and Attitude and Success by Kumble Narasimha Prabhu (Mechanical Engineer from MIT) were conducted.

During the event inspirational quotes and incidents were also screened followed by a critical analysis by mentors. While presenting critical analyses qualities to be an effective mentor were highlighted. Teachers were also enlightened through an inspirational talk and motivated to strive hard to reach greater heights. On the whole, the faculty members were given enough scope for academic growth and how to make use of the opportunities available in the school to enhance knowledge and skills.
