Mangaluru: Shakthi School holds programme to provide details of school to parents

Mangaluru, May 27: Shakthi Residential School held a programme in the school auditorium on May 25 to provide information regarding the school to the parents of children.

School principal Vidhya Kamath G in her introductory address said that the school and hostel are of international standard. “The school has swimming pool, spacious playground, facilities for various games, yoga exercises daily, meditation and facilities of literary and cultural activities. Special classes are held daily for students who remain behind in studies. The school has excellent reading room, library and science laboratories. Individual attention is paid to each student and research based teaching will be stressed. Well qualified and experienced teachers in the school will always inspire students to study,” she said.

Shakthi Education Institute development officer Nasima Banu explained the initiative parents need to take for their children’s studies.

Shakthi Education Trust chief adviser Ramesh K, PU College principal Prabhaker G S and Shakthi Education Trust administrator Bykady Janardhan Achar were present. Teacher Poornima Shetty welcomed. Swathi Bharath rendered the vote of thanks. Priyanka Rai compered the programme.
